The Aston Martin Vanquish S is the second-generation version of the original Vanquish, which was produced between 2001 and 2007.
The Vanquish S first appeared in late 2016, featuring a redefined exterior that presented sharper looks, hinting strongly at an increase in power. The vehicle offered improved aerodynamics. This was supported by a 2x2 twill-weave carbon fibre front splitter and rear diffuser, each contributing towards greater stability at top speeds. Such adaptations also helped to enhance the car’s already eye-catching aesthetics.
The beating heart of the Vanquish S is its naturally aspirated 6.0-litre V12 engine, which outputs 592bhp (an increase of 26.6bhp) and a peak torque of 630Nm. This ensures that 0-62mph is dispatched in just 3.5 seconds, and that a top speed of 201mph is achievable – on the race track, of course.
Nevertheless, as per usual, Aston Martin ensured that automotive luxuriousness was high on the agenda, enabling a motoring experience that is as comfortable as it is thrilling.
